Meet Jen
I'm a busy mom,
just like you.
Choosing to hire a coach is a big deal!
You deserve to know a bit about me.
Let's start with the basics.
I'm a mom of 5 and dog mom,
a lawyer, and writer.
I love to podcast and hike (both depicted below).
And I'm slowly working my way through Julia Child's, "The Art of French Cooking," and learning how to be a good plant mom.
My family complains that I ask too many questions,
but I can't help it. It's what I do! With a background in journalism, law, and consulting, what else would you expect?
I bring that love of inquiry to coaching, when I work with you.
I'm passionate about using coaching
to help moms create the life they want.
That means creating habits and systems that work for moms.
It also means savoring this beautiful season that you are in.
I want to help you enjoy this beautiful life of yours.
Coaching can help make that possible.
Why did I become a coach?
It's multi-faceted. But here's the most truthful and briefest answer I can give.
I want to help moms.
As a busy, working mom, I know what it feels like to feel, in your heart, like you are never good enough.
I know what it's like to be misjudged by others, but still judge yourself even more.
I know what it's like to miss my kids, but also want a moment to just breathe, too.
And, I know that's how so many of you feel.
I know what it's like when people say the days are long but the years are short.
I know what it's like to watch your babies grow up so fast and just want to savor it. But not lose yourself at the same time, you know?
Because, sure, you are a MOM FIRST.
But you are more than a mom, too.
And I know what it's like to want to truly set an example for your kids.
I want to help you set that example for your kids. An example of a happy, fulfilled mom.
I want your kids to grow up thinking that this is how it's supposed to be, so that when they become an adult, they are happy and fulfilled--because they had a mom who set that example for them.
Coaching can help.
It helped me.
It can help you, too.

Why do these matter?
Your time, money, and energy matters. If you are going to invest in coaching, you deserve to work with someone who has been trained by the best.
Even if you don't hire me, I recommend folks look for a coach who is certified by ICF. Since coaching is not a licensed field (unlike law or therapy), it is important to ensure you have well-trained and tested individuals coaching you. Coaches who are certified by ICF are also bound by ICF's ethical rules.
